Google adds new AI-powered photo editing tools to Photos app
One of the most remarkable new features in Google Photos is the ability to add a slow down or speed up effect to your videos with a single tap. This feature is a great convenience, especially for those who make social media videos.
You can speed up your videos to make moving moments more dynamic or slow them down to create dramatic scenes. AI can also automatically edit your videos, such as cropping and zooming. So you don’t have to spend hours to get a professional result.
These are not the only editing tools coming to Google Photos. More advanced effects such as dynamic motion tracking are also now available. This feature automatically tracks a moving object or person in your video to keep you focused.
For example, if you want to follow a running person in your video, this feature will track their movements smoothly and clearly in the video. So you no longer need to think about every detail when editing your videos, AI takes care of that for you.
The new editing tools can be found via the templates tab under the video timeline. From there, you can choose the effect that best suits your videos. Google plans to bring these new features to Wear OS and web versions soon, but no official announcement has yet been made.
